Physician-Led IV Therapy & Medical Wellness in Crete, Greece
Personalised Medical Wellness in Heraklion & Rethymno
What Makes IVIVE Different?
Intravenous therapy should not be approached as a one-size-fits-all wellness treatment.
At IVIVE, we follow a physician-led approach.
Medical Assessment First
Before treatment, relevant medical history, current medication, allergies, previous conditions and individual circumstances are reviewed.
Personalised Approach
There is no universal IV protocol suitable for everyone. Any proposed treatment is selected according to the individual's assessment and clinical suitability.
Physician Supervision
IVIVE treatments are provided within a medical environment under the supervision of Dr Ioannis Vlachakis.
Clinical Environment
Treatments are provided at our medical clinics in Heraklion and Rethymno, Crete, with appropriate medical supervision and monitoring.
IV Therapy in Crete
Intravenous administration allows fluids and selected substances to be delivered directly into the circulation.
However, IV administration is not automatically necessary or appropriate for everyone.
At IVIVE, the decision to recommend an intravenous treatment is made only after individual assessment.
Depending on the patient's circumstances and medical suitability, an individual treatment plan may include intravenous fluids or selected medically appropriate components.
The objective is not simply to select a predefined “drip”, but to determine whether an IV treatment is appropriate in the first place and, where indicated, which approach is suitable for that individual.
Your Medical Assessment Comes First
Every IVIVE appointment begins with an individual assessment.
This may include:
• Medical history
• Current medications and supplements
• Allergies
• Previous medical conditions
• Previous reactions to intravenous treatments
• Blood pressure and relevant clinical observations
• Review of available laboratory investigations when appropriate
• Assessment of contraindications and potential risks
Additional investigations may be recommended when clinically appropriate.
Following assessment, the doctor will discuss whether an intravenous treatment is appropriate and what alternatives may be considered.
Not every patient who attends IVIVE will necessarily be advised to undergo IV therapy.
Personalised IV Therapy & Medical Wellness
Rather than relying exclusively on standardised “cocktails”, IVIVE follows an individualised medical approach.
Depending on clinical assessment, medical suitability and the products legally available for the intended medical use, treatment may involve appropriate intravenous fluids or selected components.
Potential areas in which patients may seek medical assessment include:
Hydration & Fluid Replacement
Medical assessment for patients concerned about inadequate fluid intake, dehydration or fluid loss, including circumstances associated with travel or physical activity.
Nutritional Deficiencies
Assessment of suspected or documented nutritional deficiencies and discussion of the appropriate route of supplementation where clinically indicated.
Iron Deficiency
Medical assessment of iron status and iron deficiency. Where intravenous iron is clinically indicated, appropriate treatment may be discussed following review of laboratory investigations and medical history.
Vitamin B12 & Micronutrient Assessment
Assessment of potential vitamin or micronutrient deficiencies and consideration of the most appropriate supplementation strategy.
Recovery & Wellness Assessment
Individual medical consultation for people seeking professional advice regarding fatigue, demanding schedules, travel, physical activity or general wellbeing.
NAD+ Consultation
For patients specifically interested in NAD+, IVIVE offers a medical consultation to discuss the treatment, the current evidence, potential limitations, risks and whether treatment is appropriate.
Availability of any specific treatment is subject to medical assessment, clinical indication where required, and applicable Greek and European regulations.
A Medical Approach to Wellness
At IVIVE, we believe that medical wellness should begin with understanding the individual rather than simply choosing a treatment from a menu.
Symptoms such as persistent fatigue, reduced exercise tolerance or a general feeling of low energy can have many different causes.
For this reason, physician assessment can help determine whether further investigation may be appropriate before considering treatment.
Our philosophy is simple:
Assess first. Treat only when appropriate. Personalise the approach.

Safety Comes First
Intravenous treatment is a medical intervention and should be approached accordingly.
Before any treatment, potential contraindications, relevant medical conditions, medications and individual risk factors are considered.
IV therapy can have adverse effects and is not appropriate for every individual.
IVIVE therefore does not recommend intravenous treatment solely on the basis of a patient's desired wellness outcome.
Medical suitability always comes first.
